Microbiology laboratory is an important part of Guangzhou NAGO Biotechnology Co., Ltd. equipped with 100,000 class clean area, covering positive room and microbial testing room. It ensures the antimicrobial performance of the antiseptic system through testing and provides reliable antimicrobial solutions for customers. In the event of product staining or other problems with microbial testing techniques, timely testing and solutions are provided.


The nine testing programs applied by the analytical center were certified by CNAS system in June 2021, among which the microbiology laboratory anticorrosive efficacy test for primary addition of bacteria and microbiology testing for colony count, mold and yeast programs are included in CNAS system certification and recognized by national accreditation organizations.


Preservative efficacy testing - according to the possible contamination (primary and secondary contamination) during the production and consumer use of cosmetics, a quantitative amount of known strains of bacteria are artificially added to the product, and the microbial count in the product is regularly observed to wax and wane to judge the preservative's preservative efficacy. Whether it is the development of a new formulation for a cosmetic product or an existing product. Microbiological testing and strain identification - to determine whether there are contaminated strains of products and raw materials, the environment, the use of strain isolation and purification and identification technology to identify strains of bacteria, targeted solutions to pollution problems.


Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) - the minimum concentration of preservative that can inhibit the growth and reproduction of specific microorganisms, the method determines the results of the preservative dosage to provide reference (Detection method reference basis: Disinfection Technical Specifications, 2002 version). It can be based on the type of sample to choose the appropriate detection method, such as agar dilution method, broth dilution method, etc.


Inhibition rate / sterilization rate / kill rate - sample stock solution or dilution and the role of the corresponding time specified strains, synchronous setting control, calculate the sample inhibition rate / sterilization rate / kill rate, measuring the sample inhibition / sterilization / kill ability.
