Ⅰ、Human efficacy evaluation tests
The human efficacy evaluation test mainly conducts research and evaluation of the safety and efficacy of cosmetic products and semi-finished products on human skin.
The experimental area is controlled and monitored by constant temperature and humidity to ensure that the subjects are not affected by external environmental changes during the whole testing process.
The efficacy evaluation laboratory is equipped with all kinds of skin testing index testing instruments, which can evaluate the efficacy of spot removal and whitening, repair, soothing, mild (non-irritating), moisturizing and anti-dandruff for the laboratory to screen the formulations.
Ⅱ、 Cosmetic in vitro efficacy test
Cosmetic in vitro efficacy test is to be able to simulate in the laboratory and to evaluate the efficacy of cosmetics in a scientific way.
Analytical center in vitro efficacy test mainly includes: cell biological method, zebrafish embryo model method, Chorioallantoic Membrane(CAM) model method, biochemical method and physical method, etc.
In vitro efficacy tests are generally characterized by low cost and short cycle time, and can be used for high-throughput screening of finished cosmetic products, semi-finished products or raw materials in order to screen out suitable cosmetic formulations.
1、Cell Model
That is, using cells as the test object, the corresponding cell model is established for testing according to the demand, so as to evaluate the efficacy claim of the sample.
This efficacy group cell experiment is set up in a clean room of 100,000 levels, strictly maintaining a sterile environment.
The room is mainly equipped with biological safety cabinets, ultra-clean bench, carbon dioxide incubator, low-speed frozen centrifuge, multi-channel pipette and full-wavelength enzyme marker, which can meet the requirement of cell experiments.
To achieve objective evaluation of the finished and semi-finished cosmetic products and their raw materials for mild (non-irritating), repair and other efficacy claims.
2、Zebrafish Embryo Model
Zebrafish is an effective, reliable and high-throughput model organism with the advantages of short transmission time, convenient rearing, low price and easy mass screening.
At present, the efficacy group is mainly focused on zebrafish model construction test by zebrafish embryo test to determine the acute toxicity of finished cosmetic products, semi-finished products or raw materials.
3、Chorioallantoic Membrane(CAM) Medol
Hen’s egg test on the chorioallantoic membrane is used as a substitute for the animal irritation test, and the test is used to indirectly detect the size of cosmetic irritation to human skin.
The animal substitution method claimed by this efficacy group at this stage of testing efficacy are: animal substitution-Chorioallantoic Membrane Vascular Assay (CAMVA), animal substitution-Hen’s egg test on the chorioallantoic membrane (HET-CAM) and animal substitution-Chorioallantoic Membrane-Trypan Blue Assay (TBS-CAM).
The tests are mainly used to detect the vascular effect of finished cosmetic products, semi-finished products or raw materials on blood vessels.
The CAMVA test, HET-CAM test and TBS-CAM test are used to strictly control the contact time between the sample to be tested and the chorioallantoic membrane, and finally the irritation classification of the sample is calculated and analyzed.
4、Biochemical method
The biochemical method is characterized by simple operation, low cost, easy implementation and fast speed, and can be used for high throughput screening of raw materials such as blemish whitening and antioxidant.
This efficacy group for cosmetics spot whitening, antioxidant and other efficacy testing methods are: ABTS - free radical scavenging test, DPPH - free radical scavenging test, superoxide anion free radical scavenging test and tyrosinase activity inhibition test.
The ability of the sample to scavenge free radicals or tyrosinase inhibition can be quickly determined by full-wavelength enzyme standardization.
5、Physical method
The physical method is a convenient way to evaluate the effect of a product by testing its own physical properties.
Currently, the efficacy group realizes the efficacy claim by physical method: in vitro weighing method.
A simple test to determine the hygroscopicity and moisturizing properties of finished cosmetic products, semi-finished products or raw materials by simulating a specific environment.
